The holiday season is in full swing, and with all the extra things to do and places to be, it can be challenging to find time to look your best. But I’m sure you want to look and feel great when you see friends and  family (and of course for all those Facebook photos you will be tagged in.) Plus, if you’re a single lady, you never know when someone might bring a cute friend or cousin to the holiday party! So here are just a few of my quick and easy beauty hacks that will help you save time and look fabulous for the holiday season and beyond:

  1. Cut your makeup time in half with double-duty products. Cream blush can double as lipstick and vice versa. Simply dot a bit of color onto the apples of the cheeks and blend well. If you’re in a time crunch, apply color to lips first and add to cheeks later. Vapour Organic Beauty Aura Multi Use is perfect for this. Don’t be afraid to use some of the deeper shades, as they are beautiful on lips. Just be sure to use very sparingly on cheeks, a little goes a long way!
  2. Go bold with one feature. Choose eyes or lips to be your festive focal point and dress up your look in a jiffy. If it’s eyes, grab a dark eyeliner and trace your upper and lower lash line. If you want extra depth, line the inner rim of your eye as well. Use an angled brush to smooth liner and fill in any gaps. Try: Alima Pure Natural Definition Eyeliner in Ink or Coffee with #33 Angle Liner Brush. If you love your lips, smooth on a vibrant, holiday red like Ilia Beauty’s Crimson & Clover and call it a day (or night)!
  3. Get your glow on. Healthy, radiant skin can seriously be your best (and most coveted!) accessory this time of year. Start off with using great skincare, such as Om Aroma Raspberry Seed Protect Serum, morning and night. Adding a “highlighter” to the skin can be just what it needs to go from blah to beaming. You can choose from a cream or powder formula, based on your skin type and application preference. Using fingers (for cream) or a brush (for powder), apply your glow on tops of cheekbones, inner corners of the eyes, brow bones, top of the nose and cupid’s bow (top, middle of the lips). Try: Ilia Beauty Cosmic Dancer or Alima Pure Lumina Highlighter.
